The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) is one of the main federal agencies in the United States, responding to everything that can be consumed in the country, from food to medicine. In other words, this is the certificate that opens the American doors for us, allowing Pão & Arte products to be sold there.
Halal
Halal certification states that the food or the products are permissible for the followers of Islam.
Halal is an Arabic word that means permissible. Halal Certificate assures that the products are thoroughly checked in accordance to the Islamic Shariah Laws by the concerned board. As Halal consumers accept and buy only the products certified with Halal seal, it is necessary to obtain this certain before you sell or export your products to the Halal buyers.
A food to be considered Halal is necessary follow certain rules in the manufacturing processes. In case of our products, the rules concern the form of production, origin of all raw materials, remembering that there cannot be any contact with swine and alcoholic beverages from the suppliers of these products (or the purchase of these and manufacturing is strictly prohibited).
Our transformation is mandatory both professionally and personally. This transformation occurs on a daily basis (maybe even what was done yesterday will no longer serve). Pão & Arte is prepared to serve any country.
FSSC 22000
Pão & Arte holds the FSSC 22000 Food Safety System certification, which meets the most rigorous international food safety standards and legal requirements.
The FSSC 22000 standard is based on ISO 22000, which establishes the requirements for producing and marketing products that are safe for consumers. FSSC 22000 promotes international harmonization and brings more clarity to food safety rules as it is a global standard recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), and improves the control of internal processes to minimize food safety risks.
